This test method covers determination of flash point by Pensky Martens closed cup tester of liquid fuel oils, lube oils, suspensions of solids, and liquids that tend to form a surface film under test conditions.

    Semi- automatic Pensky Martens Flash Point Tester, housed in a cast aluminium case, incorporating conectors for electricity, gas and cooling water.

    The heating bath can be controlled to give a temperature rise of 5� to 6�C/min. for ASTM D93-IP34 Method A. stirrer stop/start and shutter are motor driven, controlled by push-button. Suitable for use with mains gas or canister gas
