LIQUID BATH FOR LOW TEMPERATURE VISCOSITY MEASURED BY BROOKFIELD VISCOMETER ASTM D 2983 Note 1 and annex 3 - CEC L-18 - A -80 - ISO 9262 -NFT 60152 - IP 267

LIQUID BATH FOR LOW TEMPERATURE VISCOSITY
MEASURED BY BROOKFIELD VISCOMETER

ASTM D 2983 Note 1 and annex 3 - CEC L-18 - A -80 -
ISO 9262 -NFT 60152 - IP 267

DEFINITION

Test procedure for performing determination of low temperature viscosity of automotive hydraulic oils and transmission fluids. This method is also applied to viscosity determination of other types of lubricants, and when the fluid is not newtonian anymore, due to paraffin wax crystallization, consequently the kinematic viscosity measurements are not applicable.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Cold liquid bath
  • Viewing window
  • Programmable controller
  • Temperature range from + 15 to - 45°C
  • SPECIFICATION

Programme liquid bath including 2 baths, the first one is a cold air chamber (about - 75°C) and the second one is a turntable which can hold up to 8 test samples. The viscosity is directly measured after the turntable and the time of conditioning is standardized. The microprocessor base on the programmable controller can measure several cooling profiles
