OXIDATION STABILITY TESTER

ASTM D2440 - IP 48 - IP 280 - IP 306 - IP 307 - IP 335

This test method indicates the tendency of a lubricating oil to deteriorate on oxidation under specified conditions. A measures of the deterioration is obtained by comparison of the viscosity and carbon residue before and after oxidation. The test is not suitable for additive-type oils (other than those containing ash less additives) or those which form solid products or lose more than 10% by evaporation during the test.

12-test aluminium block bath with electronic controller with digital temperature display and setting, using PT 100 sensor. Temperature can be adjusted between 50 and 210�C +/- 0,5�C to comply with standards requests.
This instrument is delivered without flowmeter, thermometer nor glassware (12 of each must be ordered separately).

    • SPECIFICATION
    Electronic controller with platinum 100 sensor and digital temperature display between 50 and 210�C to a rest 0.1 �C.

    Flowmeter choice is flexible: from one to twelve for air or oxygen with every combination of both or, an optional second easy exchangeable supporting panel with twelve flowmeters of the other type. A set of twelve large scale, accurate flowmeters is to order separately. Please precise quantities and types.

    Block bath also includes thirteenth recess for occasional temperature measuring block for thermometer.
