ROLL STABILITY OF LUBRICATING GREASE

ASTM D1831

This test method covers the determination of the changes in the consistency of lubricating greases when worked in the roll stability tester

CHARACTERISTICS
  • Specially designed for long runs at elevated temperature (150°C)

  • Electronic temperature controller with Platinum 100 sensor, digital readout and setting to the nearest 0.1°C between ambient and 150°C.

  • Excellent heat uniformity due to fan assisted air circulation

  • Automatic cut-off whenever cover is lifted

  • Low noise smooth running: ±60dB
  • 2 side vents with elastomer stopper to remove when operating around ambient temperature only.
  • Factory adjusted overheat cut-off
  • Delivered with 2 rolls, 2 cylinders, tools for closing and opening cylinders
  • SPECIFICATION
Metallic cabinet electronically controlled in temperature, range from ambient to 100°C and ventilated by means of a small electric motor driving fan. The 2 metallic cylinders are housed in an oven and are rotated through a gear assembly at 165± 15 rpm
